The GNAS Cheshire Clout Championships took place on our field recently with a fantastic turnout of 73 archers from all over the country.  The weather held fair as well to give a great day.  Neston archers taking part again did very well with many archers placed, well done to Helen Porter, Graeme Steele, Viv Guthrie, Richie Mellor & Victoria Mara all becoming Cheshire Champions and Steve Morris, Thomas Fells & Kieran Gould on being placed.

Recent'ish Club Champs

A respectable turn out for the club shoot again considering holidays and the beautiful British weather.  A great deal of fun was had by all and well done to the winners (apologies I do not have the names to hand).  Despite the rain arriving around lunch, a good bbq was had followed by the great sport of shooting balloons and poor defenceless vegetables with club bows.  A final thanks goes to Graeme Steele for putting together a fantastic dvd of the day, it really showed what a fun club Neston C of A is both for the serious and not so serious archers. News from Cheshire Weekend

Neston archers again did well over the Cheshire Weekend shoot at Warrington.  On the Saturday in the FITA's, Carol Morris-Lewis and Viv Guthrie both came first in their respective disciplines and Steve Morris was 2nd Cheshire gent.  On the Sunday in the Cheshire Champs Carol was 2nd Cheshire, Viv 1st Cheshire and Richie Mellor 3rd Cheshire.  Well done to all who placed and all who shot this weekend.

Keep left and Go through the lights on the left hand side and enter Vale Royal. Immediately after traffic lights  keep right and take the road on the right just before sign Vale Royal its called Primrose Lane.

Go up Primrose Lane right to the top and take a right turn. Go to end (not far). and take another right signpost Alvanley I believe. Keep on this road which takes you to Mouldsworth. Its quite a way now but eventually you will come to sign for sharp bend   IT IS. follow road round still on main road and round further corner you will see not too far away a red telephone box on the left.
